The Los Angeles Lakers are going to look to upgrade their roster this NBA offseason any way that they can. They will be hitting the reset button a little bit, as the moves they made last offseason didn’t pan out as they had hoped.
Los Angeles signed Montrezl Harrell and traded for Dennis Schroder. The roster was deeper, but both fell short when the team needed them most.
By the time the postseason ended, Harrell was essentially out of the rotation and Schroder could not pick up as much slack as the team needed with Anthony Davis injured.
With both of their futures up in the air, the Lakers have question marks potentially at the center spot and point guard. Filling both will prove difficult, but there is one player that would look good in the purple and gold at center, and that is Myles Turner. He’s a name to keep an eye on in NBA rumors.

Turner is someone that the Indiana Pacers could look to move this offseason as they need a shakeup of their own. The frontcourt pairing of Domantas Sabonis and Turner has been one that the team has considered breaking up in the past and this offseason could be when they do it.
While the Lakers are short on assets to trade, they can still come up with an appealing offer for the Pacers with Turner as the centerpiece. Let’s take a look at the best deal the Lakers could offer Indiana for the former Texas Longhorn.
