The Miami Heat are less than a year removed from being crowded Eastern Conference champions, where they competed against the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals in 2019-20.

While the Heat were outmatched by the Lakers, Miami’s future looked bright.

But instead of making another deep playoff push this season, Miami was quickly eliminated by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs, leading many to believe that changes are brewing in South Beach.
