Prepare themselves for a Kawhi demand

The Los Angeles Clippers were the big winners in the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes in 2019, but it was a tedious process. Leonard had multiple organizations in limbo waiting for him to make a decision.

If that happens again, the Clippers have to have multiple backup plans in place, and one of them could be trading away George.

For the Clippers to get Leonard to sign on the dotted line two years ago, they had to acquire one of the players on his list to join him.

At the time, that player was George, but what if Leonard changed his mind and he no longer wants George as his running mate?

Would the Clippers give in to Leonard making such a power move demand? They essentially did it once and mortgaged the franchise’s future, so they may be willing to do it again.
