The New York Knicks are going to turn over every stone as they look to upgrade their point guard position this offseason. Whether it is via trade, free-agent signing, or the draft, it is imperative that the team upgrades at the most important position in the game of basketball.

Luckily for the Knicks, there are plenty of options available this offseason. Free agency is deep at the point guard spot and it looks as if there will be some players available via trade as well. One player the Knicks are reportedly closely monitoring is Charlotte Hornets point guard, Terry Rozier.

The Knicks have been connected to Rozier for a while now. When he was a free agent in 2019, New York was one of the teams courting him. When they didn’t sign him, rumors swirled a year later that he was a trade target for the team for a package centered around Julius Randle.

Fans are undoubtedly happy that the trade was never completed, as Randle was a revelation this season and won the Most Improved Player of the Year award. Rozier had a strong season in his own right, averaging 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
