Chicago Bulls Receive: G Lonzo Ball and 2022 second-round pick (via CLE)
New Orleans Pelicans Receive: G Coby White, Thaddeus Young and Troy Brown Jr.
Trading Lonzo Ball can be a tricky option for the New Orleans Pelicans as it could be tough for them to get pieces in return that could help them immediately.
While White has shown flashes in his career, there’s no guarantee he pans out. But with a need of improving their depth — along with the point guard position — New Orleans could value Thaddeus Young heavily in a possible sign-and-trade.
Young has shown that he can be a pivotal piece for a contending team in his career, and even though the Bulls missed the playoffs this year, he was a bright spot on the roster.
The veteran forward operated as a key bench contributor for Chicago until injuries forced him into the starting lineup at times.

Getting a player like Young would be great for the development of Zion Williamson, giving him an experienced player to learn from. Also, Young and Brown would drastically bolster the second unit of the Pelicans.
