The Western Conference is full of contending teams but there are still some near the bottom looking to make a move up the standings. The New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves have plenty of star power but they have not been able to put it all together. The Pelicans might have to make some moves this offseason if they want to keep their big names in place. There has been a rumors spreading around the NBA about the family of Zion Williamson being unhappy with his current situation in New Orleans. The front office is nervous about his status for the future.

If New Orleans wants to keep Williamson around, they will have to add some more fire power around him, other than Brandon Ingram. The Pelicans might have a chance if they reach out to another rebuilding team like Minnesota.

There have been some down years for the Timberwolves. They have made the postseason just once since drafting Karl-Anthony Towns with the first pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He has been at the top of most rumors because the relationship might be tarnished.
