The Philadelphia 76ers might have no choice but to send Ben Simmons away this NBA offseason. He just turned in one of the worst postseason performances in recent memory and the horror is not going to go away. This was the best chance the Sixers have had in years to win a title and instead, they are home watching the Eastern Conference Finals.
Simmons has not been able to shoot during his time in the league. This has turned into an incredible storyline surrounding the point guard. That was taken to a new level in the postseason. The Sixers were eliminated in seven in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks.
It cannot go without saying, Simmons attempted just three shots in the fourth quarter in this series with two of them coming in the first game. Now, there are questions surrounding the dedication and passion of Simmons. With what was seen of Joel Embiid this season, Philadelphia could finally decide to build around its big man.
The Indiana Pacers could be interested in a player like Simmons. They finished near the bottom of the Eastern Conference after hoping to advance in the postseason.

Indiana sent Victor Oladipo away at the beginning of the season and this was the first of what is expected to be a couple trades. Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon were immediately thrown into rumors once Oladipo was moved. Here, they would be able to move one of them.
