1. Detroit Pistons

Cade Cunningham, PG, Oklahoma State

There is nothing that will change the pick here. As draft stocks for different players continue to fluctuate, Cade Cunningham continues to be rock solid as the No. 1 overall pick. The Detroit Pistons will run to the podium on draft night to add their next franchise player. Cunningham can do it all at the point-guard position. He is a true playmaker and has incredible star potential at the next level.

2. Houston Rockets

Jalen Green, SG, G-League Ignite

The Houston Rockets can go many ways here. They missed out on Cunningham, which makes their decision more difficult, but there are plenty of future stars left. Jalen Green continues to climb up the NBA Draft board. He bypassed college and decided to go straight to the G-League, where he proved to be a dynamic scorer at all three levels. Green has been a consistent top-five pick in mocks but could go as high as second overall when the big night comes.

3. Cleveland Cavaliers

Evan Mobley, C, USC

There is a serious chance that Houston opts for a guard with the second-overall pick. If that is the case, the Cleveland Cavaliers could land their next dynamic big man down low. Andre Drummond was bought out by Cleveland and there have been NBA rumors that it might let Jarrett Allen walk in free agency. Enter Evan Mobley. He is a true seven-footer that can handle the ball and is comfortable scoring from the mid range. He is a serious talent in the frontcourt to balance the floor with Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.

4. Toronto Raptors

Jalen Suggs, PG, Gonzaga

The Toronto Raptors have to be thrilled with the idea of landing Jalen Suggs in this spot. They were able to sneak into the top five which will give them a chance to replace Kyle Lowry at the top of the offense. Toronto will lose Lowry in free agency and this could land them a player with the same fire and competitive nature — with some more athleticism. Suggs and Fred VanVleet could turn into a dynamic backcourt to lead the Raptors moving forward.

5. Orlando Magic

Jonathan Kuminga, SF, G-League Ignite

Jonathan Kuminga has rounded out the top five for weeks now. There is a bit of a drop off after the top five so this pick makes sense for the Orlando Magic. Kuminga is a raw prospect but has all-star potential at the next level, especially when his jump shot becomes a bit more consistent. He is a wing player with great length and athleticism. Kuminga’s shooting ability will make or break his star potential early in his career. If this is figured out early, Kuminga will become a franchise player.
