Why the Phoenix Suns will win the 2021 NBA Finals

For the first-time in 28 years, the Phoenix Suns are heading to the NBA Finals! The Suns have punched their tickets to the NBA Finals after beating the Los Angeles Clippers 130-103 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. 

Chris Paul can finally check off the box next to “making the NBA Finals” on his career bucket list and now the only thing remaining for him to do in his career is win it all.

Paul was a force in the Suns’ Game 6 victory over the Clippers, as he went for 41 points, tying his playoff career-high, and shooting 7-8 from three-point range, which is a new career-high for him in made three-pointers in a game (regular season or postseason). 

When you look at this Western Conference Finals victory as a whole for Phoenix, it is very hard to find a flaw in them. Sure, they dropped two games, one of them coming on their home court, but it is not like they completely broke down in these two losses. The Clippers just simply played better than them and the Suns did not shoot nearly well as they did in their victories.

Phoenix has looked like the most complete team in the playoffs this year and as a result, they find themselves just 4 wins away from winning their first championship in team history!

The Suns await the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Hawks and Bucks, a series that is tied 2-2 as of right now, but you have to imagine that Phoenix will be the favorites in the NBA Finals this year.

Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul and everybody else on this roster is on a mission right now and they are going to be extremely difficult to beat in the NBA Finals, regardless who wins the Eastern Conference Finals!
