Chicago Bulls
Ever since Derrick Rose blew out his knees with the Bulls, they have been searching for their next talented player in the backcourt. With two All-Stars in Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, Chicago is actually an attractive destination for a superstar looking for a change of scenery.
Damian Lillard could join the Bulls and not only become their leader, but elevate this team to title contention given the three All-Star talents that they would have. The only question about pursuing Lillard from the Bulls’ perspective is what would they have to give up to get him?
They could potentially look to execute a sign-and-trade involving Lauri Markkanen, since he is set to be a restricted free agent this offseason, but they could also include guys like Coby White and Patrick Williams in trade talks for Lillard as well.
Without giving up Zach LaVine, it will be hard to put together a lucrative trade offer that works for both themselves and the Blazers, but Chicago is definitely a destination that Damian Lillard could thrive in. They are historically one of the better franchises in the NBA and joining a team with two other solidified All-Stars could definitely be a situation he sees himself playing in.
Compared to the Knicks, the Bulls do not have the same amount of assets they can give up to the Blazers in trade talks, which is why they may fall out of the running for Lillard if Portland is unwilling to take a Lauri Markkanen focused trade package in return.

However, the Bulls are missing that one star player that can set them over the edge in the Eastern Conference, which is why they would love to pursue Damian Lillard if he becomes available.
It is important to note also that Chicago’s Coby White is out right now after undergoing shoulder surgery to repair the labrum in his left shoulder. This leaves the Bulls with just Tomas Satoransky in their backcourt, which is why they will be aggressive in looking to upgrade the talent at the point guard position.
