While the Utah Jazz aren’t a popular team among the members of the NBA community, they could be in store for an offseason full of changes.
Everything seemed like it was aligned for the Jazz to make a deep push in the playoffs as they were the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. However, in the second round of the playoffs, Utah would be eliminated by the Los Angeles Clippers despite being up 2-0 to begin the series.
Injuries to both Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell in the latter portion of the season and in the playoffs didn’t help Utah’s case.
The performance of the team went downhill in the postseason again, possibly prompting the front office to alter the makeup of the roster around Mitchell.

There have even been reports that Donovan Mitchell could be upset with the organization and force a trade in the future. The Jazz need to make a real effort to convince him that staying with the team long-term is the right answer for his career.
Under the assumption that the team re-signs Mike Conley and Mitchell returns, here are a few stars the team should pursue via trade to aid Donovan Mitchell.
