Back in 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals and they won their first championship in team history. LeBron James delivered on his promise to deliver a title to the city of Cleveland, but then he left in the 2018 offseason, leaving the Cavaliers with virtually nothing.

Since James left, the Cavaliers have gone 60-159 and have consistently been near the bottom of the league standings. Heading into the offseason this year, Cleveland once again has a top pick in the draft and this year, they will be picking 3rd overall.

With Collin Sexton and Darius Garland as their two young leaders in the backcourt, it would appear that Cleveland may not go in the direction of drafting another guard, but there has been some uncertainty about the future of their young players.

Garland is under contract through the 2022-23 season, but Sexton is entering the final year of his deal and is up for a contract extension in the offseason.

There is always the possibility of trading the 3rd overall pick and possibly gaining more assets, but here are the Top-4 options for the Cavaliers to consider with their top draft pick this year.
