One free agent the Celtics must pursue this offseason

With the NBA offseason right around the corner, the Boston Celtics are going to be a team to keep a close eye on. They have already undergone some major changes since their season ended. Many believe that the changes are just getting started and that the Celtics are going to be one of the more aggressive teams this offseason.

Brad Stevens took over as President of Basketball Operations for Danny Ainge to begin the offseason changes. Soon after that move, Stevens made his first big trade. He shipped Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for a package centered around Al Horford.

Even though that was a big move, it was expected. Walker simply did not fit alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The writing was on the wall that he would end up getting moved this offseason.

Looking ahead to the upcoming NBA free agency market, the Celtics could be very active. They will look to re-tool their roster in order to be more serious contenders in the Eastern Conference. Boston may not make any huge splashes in free agency, but there are some players that they could and should target.
