Toronto Raptors Receive: F Andrew Wiggins and No. 7 Pick
Golden State Warriors: F OG Anunoby, G/F Rodney Hood and C Aron Baynes
Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. have been the two biggest trade pieces for the Warriors this year. Neither were moved at the NBA trade deadline but that could change once we get into the offseason. In this deal, Andrew Wiggins will be going to Toronto along with the No. 7 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
In return, the Warriors would get a better fit on the wing in OG Anunoby to highlight the trade. Rodney Hood and hour and Aron Baynes will also come to the Warriors but the trade will be headlined by Anunoby.
During the 2021-22 season, OG Anonuby will be starting his four-year, $72 million extension. He will receive roughly $16 million during the first year of the deal.
While the Warriors would take on a total of $2.6 million in salary, they would clear substantial cap room next offseason with Rodney Hood ($10.8M) and Aron Baynes ($7.3M) both being on expiring contracts. Golden State would clear around $14.2 million for 2022-23.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around around OG Anunoby would impact both the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors.
