There is no NBA team that saw a more-disappointing finish to the season than the Philadelphia 76ers. Both teams in this deal were eliminated from the playoffs earlier than they hoped but Philadelphia completely blew up and will have plenty of questions to answer in the offseason.
This begins with Ben Simmons. He attempted just three shots in the fourth quarter of a seven-game series in the second round against the Atlanta Hawks. The shooting struggles, or lack of willingness, that Simmons has seen has been taken to another level.
This was the best season for the Sixers in quite some time. Seth Curry was a welcomed addition while Joel Embiid looked like the MVP if he was able to stay healthy. In the end, it could spell the end of the process and Simmons would be traded away.
It would not be surprising to see teams interested in a 6-foot-10 point guard like Simmons. The Denver Nuggets could be one of the potential landing spots for Simmons. The Nuggets missed Jamal Murray in the postseason because of an injury.

This had severe ramifications on the team as they were forced to play without one of its stars. Nikola Jokic had to carry the load on his own and the team was swept out of the postseason in the second round.
The Sixers have to make a decision involving Simmons and it should not be a difficult one. If and when he is traded, this could be an option that benefits both sides.
