Bradley Beal

If you thought a trade for Zach LaVine involving Simmons was improbable, then I know I’ll receive criticism for saying that Bradley Beal should be a target for the 76ers. But yet again, Philadelphia shouldn’t be settling for anyone until they’ve exhausted all efforts for star players across the league.

A name that will certainly be a hot topic in the offseason is Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. Beal is entering the prime of his career and he just concluded the best year of his career as the second-leading scorer in the NBA.

Despite Beal’s efforts, along with Russell Westbrook, the Wizards were dispatched in the first round of the playoffs by Simmons’ 76ers. Therefore, Philadelphia has gotten a front-row seat to what Beal is capable of doing on the offensive end.

Sadly, Beal hasn’t shown any interest in being traded from Washington, and there’s a good chance that the Wizards won’t accept Simmons in return for him, even if he were made available. Still, it’s nice to dream about a dynamic duo of Embiid and Beal on the 76ers.

Fans in Philadelphia shouldn’t get their hopes up in landing Beal, but it’s perfectly fine to dream about fantasy-like scenarios with how their season concluded.
