Does this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?
If you were to tell me that Wiggins would average 18-20 points per game and shoot nearly 40 percent for the 76ers next season, I’d say they should make the trade. However, one of the reasons why Wiggins has failed to receive a vote of confidence from fans and teams alike is due to his inconsistent play on the floor.
That being said, Wiggins just had the most efficient year of his career, making 38 percent of his three-point attempts while scoring 18.6 points per game.

And even though Wiseman wouldn’t fit into the starting lineup, he would be a solid developmental player behind Embiid. Though, for a team that is trying to piece together a contending roster, having a key piece of their team be a project player seems far from ideal.
Wiseman was a talented player coming out of college, but it remains to be seen if he can evolve into a premier big man in the NBA. The 76ers don’t have time to see if he ever develops the necessary skills to succeed in the league.
There’s no doubt that Philadelphia could use more scoring off of their bench, and Poole would give them just that. Poole would be a much-needed spark off of the bench, and he’s capable of spacing the floor at either guard spot. Even though there are positives to take from a possible trade with the Warriors, I feel like the 76ers can get a better package elsewhere for Simmons.
