Houston had a new-look front office last year and they immediately made big moves. The Rockets traded away both of their superstars while signing Christian Wood. During the season, James Harden and PJ Tucker were traded away.

Gordon was another player mentioned at the NBA trade deadline because of his age and current situation. He is not a long-term piece for the Rockets and this could force the front office to trade him. Moving on from veteran players could continue for Houston as they continue to rebuild.
