Chicago Bulls
When this season’s NBA trade deadline approached, the Chicago Bulls had to decide whether or not they were going to be buyers or sellers. The Bulls would elect to be buyers in hopes of making a late-season playoff push after acquiring Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic.

Despite the move for Vucevic, Chicago fell short of the postseason, finishing as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. Even with another disappointing finish, the Bulls believe their duo of Zach LaVine and Vucevic, along with Patrick Williams and Coby White, have what it takes to compete next season.
That being said, Chicago is going to need more if they want to secure a playoff spot in 2021-2022. Before the lottery takes place, the Bulls hold the eighth-best odds at the first-overall selection, with the seventh and eight-overall picks looking like the likely landing spot.
With the Bulls front office sharing a positive approach with LaVine and Vucevic, getting a third option during the 2021 NBA Draft in the form of a trade could be in the works.
