This season was a roller coaster ride for the Miami Heat due to players being in and out of the rotation due to injuries and health protocols relating to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. It never seemed like this Heat team was able to live up to their full expectations because they were never fully healthy!
In fact, Duncan Robinson was the only Heat player to play in all 72 games during the regular season and even he was dealing with some injuries throughout the season! Now, with Victor Oladipo, Trevor Ariza, Nemanja Bjelica, Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn set to become free agents this offseason, as well as the possibility of Goran Dragic and Andre Iguodala becoming free agents due to team options on their contracts, the Heat could look very different next year.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are the focal points of this team, but for the last two seasons, it seems like they are still a key offensive talent away from being something special. Butler can only do so much for the Heat and Adebayo is not a superstar-like talent, which is why they will be on the hunt for another All-Star in the offseason.
One name that comes to mind for the Heat and has been talked about before in rumors circulating in Miami is Zach LaVine. It would take a lot to convince the Bulls to trade their star guard, especially after he just made his first All-Star appearance of his career this year, but he is exactly the kind of player Miami needs and should want.
