The New York Knicks are clinging on to dear life as they hope to prevent being sent home in the NBA playoffs on Friday in their first round series against the Atlanta Hawks.
Heading into Wednesday’s possible series-ending contest, the Knicks are down 3-1 in the series, giving some fans a reason to look toward the future of Tom Thibodeau’s squad. One player that fans in New York will be watching closely — with the hope of him re-signing — is Derrick Rose.

Rose is slated to hit NBA free agency this summer and there’s no doubt that the Knicks would love to have him back for next season. But after another resurgent season that proves he is still a force on the court, will Rose remain in New York? Or will he choose to sign with a team that has a clearer path to a championship?
It’s hard to envision Thibodeau letting Rose slip away from him for what seems like the hundredth (possibly more) time.
However, if Rose elects to give other teams an opportunity to sway him in his decision, then there are a few teams that would make intriguing fits for the veteran point guard.
