Utah may not play a large rotation of guys, but they are a very deep team talent wise
The Utah Jazz only really play 8-9 guys a game, but all of these guys hold a major role and are all very talented. From Donovan Mitchell, to Mike Conley, to bench guys like Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles and even Derrick Favors, all of these guys play so well together, which is why Utah is a dangerous team in the Western Conference.
Some teams, like their opponents in this series in the Grizzlies, play 10+ guys deep in their rotations, but the Jazz do not have to do so because of how talented their upper rotation is. Guys like Ingles and Clarkson could probably start on a lot of teams in the NBA, but the difference that they can bring off-the-bench gives the Jazz a huge boost and instead of a second-unit, they almost have ‘Starting Unit A’ and ‘Starting Unit B’ on their team.

When one guy has a bad day for the Jazz, somebody else off-the-bench steps up and that was the narrative in Game 4. After scoring 20+ points in each of the first three games of this series, Conley only scored 11 points in Game 4, but Jordan Clarkson stepped up scoring 24 points off-the-bench.
Someone is always willing to step up on this Jazz team and with every player on this roster having the ability to be a high-level scorer, the Utah Jazz are one of the most dangerous teams in the NBA, even if they only play with 8-9 guys per game.
