Somebody is going to have to step up for the Clippers
Kawhi Leonard had a great game, going for 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Paul George put together a decent game, scoring 23 points on 8-18 shooting, but everybody else in this game for the Clippers did not come to play.

Their next best scorers were Nic Batum and Rajon Rondo off-the-bench with 11 points a piece and then Patrick Beverley, who scored 10 points in 17 minutes in the starting rotation. This simply will not cut it for the Clippers and if they come out in Game 2 shooting like they did in Game 1, they may quickly go down 2-0 in this series!
Homecourt or not, the Clippers looked terrible offensively in Game 1 against Dallas and they are not going to be able to win this series, yet alone Game 2, if they do not get production from somebody else in their starting lineup.
Patrick Beverley and Ivica Zubac are not great scoring weapons, which is why Marcus Morris Sr. needs to step up and be that third reliable scoring option for the Clippers in this series. Shooting 2-8, including 0-6 from three-point range, and only scoring 4 points simply is not going to cut it and is a great formula for the Clippers to lose this series.
Morris needs to be and will be better, but Reggie Jackson also needs to be better coming off-the-bench. Patrick Beverley still seems somewhat limited, as he is still trying to get back to 100% health, and next to Rondo in the backcourt off-the-bench, Jackson needs to be aggressive and find ways to get to the basket.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will need to go for 20+ points in every single game of this series, but the other key, veteran players on this roster need to step up offensively. Hopefully, for the Clippers’ sake, Game 1 was just a bad shooting night. Game 2 has suddenly turned into a must-win-game for Los Angeles.
