Jrue Holiday

The Bucks went out and gave up a ton of assets in order to bring in Jrue Holiday and in this series against the Heat, he is going to have to emerge as the x-factor for the Bucks. We know what Giannis Antetokounmpo can do and we know that he is likely going to go for 20 points and 10 rebounds every single game, but that secondary production Milwaukee will need is going to have to come from Holiday.

Khris Middleton is going to be most likely guarded by Jimmy Butler, one of the better defensive wings in the NBA, which is why Jrue Holiday may be tasked with making big plays late in games.

In 59 games with the Bucks during the regular season, Holiday averaged 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists and shot 50.3% from the floor, 39.2% from three-point range. If he can have this kind of impact against the Heat, Milwaukee likely will not struggle much.

In three games against the Heat this year, Holiday averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists and shot 52.4% from three-point range. The Bucks won 2 of the 3 games they played against the Heat during the regular season and Jrue Holiday was a big part of both of their victories.

The biggest question over the years for the Bucks is where will they get that secondary offensive production that they need to overcome great teams through the playoffs and Jrue Holiday will have to answer these calls this year. Khris Middleton is a great player and will have his moments, but the Heat have not guarded the point guard position well this year, which is why Holiday is the player to look out for on the Bucks in this series.
