Indiana Pacers have some major roster reconstruction to do in the offseason
Over the years, the Pacers have entered each season with very high expectations due to the talent they had on their rosters, yet every year, it seems like one problem arises after the other. This year, not only did they deal with injuries throughout the course of the regular season, but they dealt with a bunch of internal problems in the locker room.
There were several reported feuds between the coaching staff and the Pacers’ players, which raises a ton of questions about the job security of first-year head coach Nate Bjorkgren. This will be the first order of business for the Pacers to address in the offseason, but they also need to address their roster and figure out a long-term plan moving forward.
Losing T.J. Warren just four games into the season definitely did not help the Pacers’ chances of being anything special, but overall, they have the talent to be able to be a top team in the East, yet they find themselves missing the playoffs.

Caris LeVert is going to be a great talent on the wing to build with and Malcolm Brogdon seems like he is not going anywhere, as he leads their backcourt, but what about Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and T.J. Warren?
All of these guys are under contract through next season and Indiana could keep all of them in hopes that they will all be healthy to play together over the course of what should be a 82-game season next year, but Indiana has become a team many league executives are watching in terms of the trade market.
Myles Turner has been brought up in trade rumors numerous times over the last year or so and both Domantas Sabonis and T.J. Warren could give the Pacers a monumental return in a potential trade. T.J. McConnell and Doug McDermott are the only impactful free agents for Indiana this offseason, so it is highly likely that the Pacers will make a trade at some point, the only questions though are who will be on the move and what will they get in return?
