The Mavs have no answer for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George
Dorian Finney-Smith is a really strong defender, as is Josh Richardson on the perimeter, but Kawhi Leonard and Paul George had their way with Dallas during the regular season. Leonard only played in two games against the Mavs, but he averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and shot 43.9% from the floor.

Paul George played in all three of the meetings against Dallas this year, averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and shooting 35.0% from three-point range. The LA Clippers’ offense flows through the production of both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George and with them showing the ability to take advantage of the Dallas Mavericks during the regular season, they should be able to do the same in the postseason.
Even if Leonard or George do end up having a bad game, the Clippers have other guys who are more than capable of stepping up into larger roles and having a solid game or two during this series.
It is just hard to imagine that the Mavericks will be able to stop both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, especially with this being the NBA playoffs now. Both guys are going to play much better than they did during the regular season given what is on the line and given how good Kawhi Leonard has been in the playoffs over the years, we can expect him to look like the 2x Finals MVP we know him to be.
