Dallas Mavericks struggle to find production outside of Luka Doncic
The Dallas Mavericks finished the regular season inside the Top-10 in offensive rating, but overall, they are a very streaky offensive team. Luka Doncic had a lot to do with them being a “Top-10” rated offensive team, but heading into this series, Mavericks fans should definitely be concerned about their team’s offensive production.
When healthy, which has been a rare occurrence this year, Kristaps Porzingis has been reliable for 20+ points per game and a threat from beyond-the-arc, but who else are the Mavs going to turn to in order to beat one of the best offensive teams in the league in the LA Clippers?

Tim Hardaway Jr. has had some great performances over the last month or so, but he has also had games where he fails to score in double-figures. The same can be said about Dorian Finney-Smith and Josh Richardson as well.
Quite honestly, Jalen Brunson is going to have to be a huge factor in this series for the Mavericks to have a chance, as will Maxi Kleber. Now, getting 20+ points from them in a game would be fantastic for the Mavericks, but just having them knock down open shots and create opportunities for others will be really what the Mavs will look to get from them.
Overall, the Dallas Mavericks have been really inconsistent all season long on the offensive-end of the court and while they have the stats to back up that they are a solid offensive team, it is hard to trust them when Luka is not on the court with the ball in his hands.
