#10 San Antonio Spurs: 33-39
Last season, the San Antonio Spurs missed the playoffs for the first time since 1997 and now this year, they could wind up missing the playoffs in back-to-back years for the first time in their franchise’s history. In 54 years as an NBA organization, the Spurs have never missed the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, which is quite impressive.

However, all good things must come to an end at some point and it seems like the clock is ticking for the San Antonio Spurs. DeMar DeRozan, Dejounte Murray and veteran forward Rudy Gay have been key talents for the Spurs all season long, but without Derrick White and virtually no depth in their frontcourt, they are going to have a hard time dealing with Memphis.
They did beat the Memphis Grizzlies in one of their three meetings during the regular season, but this lone win came in their first game of the season when the Grizzlies did not have their full team and the Spurs still had LaMarcus Aldridge.
While they do have a chance and some young talents who have shown the ability to score in Keldon Johnson and Lonnie Walker IV, it is hard to imagine the Spurs being able to beat this Memphis Grizzlies team at full strength.
The Spurs are going to be picking in the draft lottery for the second consecutive year and with DeMar DeRozan set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, this NBA play-in tournament may be the last chance for San Antonio to potentially avoid having to go through a rebuilding process.
