Stephen Curry – Golden State Warriors
Winning his second scoring title of his career this year, Stephen Curry has single-handedly carried the Golden State Warriors to the play-in tournament and on the brink of the playoffs without his partner in crime in Klay Thompson. Draymond Green has also had a really impressive season this year, given everything he does to help the Warriors win, but this team goes as Steph Curry goes.
Curry did only average 23.0 PPG against the Lakers during the regular season, about 9.0 PPG less than his season average, but he has been on a tear over the last month or so and has shown no signs of slowing up.

He won the scoring title this year and since the start of March, Curry has scored 20+ points in 26 of the 29 games he has played in since then, including 15 games with 30+ points and 8 games with 40+ points.
The Lakers’ defense may be good, but Stephen Curry is showing everybody right now why he is one of the greatest players of all-time. You just cannot do anything to stop Curry when he is making shots and even though he will likely see a double-team almost the entire game, it would not be surprising to see Curry still put up 30+ points in this one against Los Angeles.
If the Warriors are going to have any chance of winning this game, especially since they will likely be decimated in the rebounding category, Curry will not only have to score 35+ points, but other guys like Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Kent Bazemore will have to knock down big shots as well.
Anytime he has taken the court this year, Stephen Curry has been “must-see-TV” and in this matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers, he could be gearing up to have yet another remarkable performance.
