Since May 1st, Sabonis is averaging 23.0 points, 14.1 rebounds, 10.7 assists and is shooting about 62% from the floor. There has been no stopping this guy when he has the ball in his hands on the offensive-end of the court and given that the Hornets’ frontcourt is weak to begin with, Sabonis could be on his way to having another monster game.
Domantas Sabonis made a huge impact for the Pacers in all three games they played against the Hornets during the regular season and recorded 10+ rebounds in each of these games. Given that they will likely be without Myles Turner again and how well he has been passing the ball over the last few weeks, it should not be a surprise to see Sabonis record a triple-double.
He will have the ball in his hands virtually every possession down the court and given his all-around playmaking abilities and the fact that the Pacers will be treating this game like a “Game 7,” it should not come as a surprise to see Sabonis record a triple-double.
