Russell Westbrook impacts the game in more ways than one

Russell Westbrook is one of the greatest players of this generation in the NBA, not because he can score, not because he can pass, not because he can rebound, but because he can do all of those things and more!

Westbrook has recorded 176 total triple-doubles over the course of his career and is now currently 5 triple-doubles shy of tying Oscar Robertson for the most triple-doubles in NBA history.

We can talk about the triple-double Russell Westbrook owns or is about to break, but this is going to be the biggest achievement of them all when he passes “The Big O” on the Triple-Double All-Time list.

This was one of those records that you looked at and thought it was “unbreakable,” but Westbrokk is a special player and he can do special things on the court. There is never going to be another player like Westbrook in this league, which is why he holds an enormous value to the Wizards.

There are narratives that “Westbrook can’t do this,” and “Westbrook isn’t a good teammate,” but the people writing all of this have never played on the same court as Russ, nor have they spent time in the same locker room as him.

From the vast majority of the players he has played with, they all say he has been a terrific teammate and his currently NBA superstar teammate Bradley Beal feels the same way. Russell Westbrook impacts his team in a ton of different ways, which is why his value to the Wizards is extremely high.
