Danny Green – Philadelphia 76ers

One player in the league that oftentimes gets overlooked is Danny Green. The veteran wing has found success everywhere he has gone and while he has struggled at times offensively over the course of his career, defense has always been a steady factor in his success.

This season with the 76ers, Danny Green has continued to show why he is an underrated defender and has been one of the key defenders for them all season long, next to potential Defensive Player of the Year Ben Simmons.

The 76ers are Green’s fourth team in the last four seasons, but because of his defensive abilities, he was able to be a key role player in the Raptors’ championship run in 2019, as well as the Lakers’ championship run in the NBA Bubble last season.

Once again, Danny Green is a key role player for a championship team in Philadelphia, but with him set to become a free agent, he could be someone the Trail Blazers look to target in the offseason.

He fits their mold of being a perimeter-oriented threat on the wing and he could really help this Trail Blazers team defensively. With him set to turn 34-years-old in the offseason, his asking price contract wise may be less than many people believe and the Blazers could potentially reach a very affordable deal with Danny Green in free agency.
