Why This Trade Would Benefit The Washington Wizards

Washington has been a bottom feeder in the Eastern Conference for years now. It has not been long since Bradley Beal and John Wall were one of the top duos in the league but injuries derailed their hopes at contending for a title.

Now that John Wall was finally sent away, the front office could decide to complete the other half and trade Bradley Beal.

Right now, Bradley Beal has incredible value in the league. He is an elite scorer and a player that continues to improve. When looking at the return the Wizards could get, this deal seems like a no-brainer. Washington has come in last place with Beal and they can do so without him.

The Mavericks are a team with intriguing options that they could send back. Kristaps Porzingis would be a great pick-and-roll option with Russell Westbrook at the top of the offense. They would also get some young players along with draft capital.

Washington is in a clear rebuilding phase and is going to take some time before they get back to relevance. This is a move that can help them retool some assets and give them some more chess pieces moving forward.
