Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks are another team that could be looking for that final piece of a big three. The organization changed when they made a draft-day trade with the Atlanta Hawks for Luka Doncic.
Doncic has quickly turned into one of the best players in the league and is still just 22 years old. Dallas added Kristaps Porzingis in a trade with the New York Knicks and Mike Conley could be next.
The Mavericks got a taste of the postseason down in the bubble and could become a staple year in and year out. Adding an experienced point guard would help their case. Doncic is an elite passer but thrives off the ball. This is where the Mavericks could be looking for that piece in the backcourt to take the ball-handling duties off Doncic.
If Porzingis is able to stay healthy, this is a trio that could make some noise. The Mavericks are already 30-24 in the Western Conference and would improve drastically with Conley running the point.

Mark Cuban is no stranger to big-splash moves and this could be another one. He is used to shelling out big money but Mike Conley could come at a discounted rate given his age and the size of his last contract. This could persuade Dallas to take a long, hard look.
