Mike Conley has made it clear that he wants to stay with the Utah Jazz. One thing that could pry him away is going to a team with a similar front office vibe.

The Raptors have one of the top minds in Masai Ujiri running the show and Nick Nurse is a strong head coach on the sideline. Toronto is going through a transition year but expect to make some moves in the offseason and be back near the top next year.

The Raptors have not looked like the postseason contender that they have been in years past and that is because they lost some depth in the frontcourt. They will lose Kyle Lowry in the offseason as well. The veteran is in the final year of his deal and his days in Toronto are most likely over.

Kyle Lowry is one of the top Raptors in franchise history but could be on a new team next season. This leaves a hole at the top of the offense and Conley could fill it. He would immediately start for Toronto and give them a player similar to Lowry. Fred VanVleet is more of an off-the-ball option that controls the shooting-guard position.

Mike Conley would bring great experience and replace Lowry at the top of the offense. This move would benefit both sides right away next season. The Raptors could be at the top of the list in terms of teams making a run at Conley.
