3 teams who could make a run at Talen Horton-Tucker this offseason

Entering the NBA season, Talen Horton-Tucker was expected just to be another young talent the Lakers were going to take their time developing but after being a standout performer during the preseason, Horton-Tucker got his chances to prove himself early on and did not disappoint.

In 46 appearances with the Lakers this season, THT is averaging 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and is shooting 44.6% from the floor. While he is not much of a three-point threat, only shooting 24.4% from deep this season, Horton-Tucker ability to see the floor and take what his opponents give him is definitely above average.

With LeBron James and Anthony Davis being out because of injuries, Horton-Tucker’s role has increased and he has become a key role player in their efforts to win back-to-back titles. Having the chance to learn from LeBron James has definitely been impactful to the young wing and you can see some of James’ teachings rubbing off on the young prodigy.
