21. New York Knicks (via DAL)

Tre Mann, G, Florida | Sophomore

After an impressive set of outings in NCAA March Madness, Tre Mann was able to display some intriguing signs offensively. He raised some questions about whether the measure on his offensive skill-set was being discounted to an extent. He still needs to show greater facilitation ability but he can fit in with RJ Barrett and Julius Randle as a legitimate combo guard.

22. Denver Nuggets

Cameron Thomas, G, LSU | Freshman

With how many prospects the Denver Nuggets have added in recent drafts, there isn’t a real need for them to address. They did consolidate some of their perimeter depth in order to land Aaron Gordon at the NBA trade deadline, so going with another shooting guard in a draft class loaded with options wouldn’t be a bad choice whatsoever. The upside of Cameron Thomas’ shot creation would be a worthy gamble for a Nuggets team that can be patient with his development.

23. Houston Rockets (via POR)

Sharife Cooper, G, Auburn | Freshman

A rebuilding team like the Houston Rockets needs talent in any place they can get it. With the additional first round selection they added from the Robert Covington trade, they created yet another opportunity to hit on a potential draft choice. Going with a best player available philosophy would net them Sharife Cooper to develop beyond former perennial NBA All-Star John Wall.

24. Los Angeles Lakers

Marcus Bagley, F, Arizona State | Freshman

The concerns that NBA scouts have about Marcus Bagley not being a creator within the half-court could actually help him to be a contributor who knows his role from day one. He projects as being a helpful stretch-four at 6-foot-8 and could provide some needed floor spacing for the Los Angeles Lakers who already have all of the star power in LeBron James and Anthony Davis that are necessary.

25. Los Angeles Clippers

Aaron Henry, F, Michigan State | Junior

The defensive identity of the Los Angeles Clippers with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George is one the team should continue to add pieces to fulfill. Adding a 6-foot-6 wing that can guard multiple positions like Aaron Henry could be an intriguing option for the Clippers to add more depth behind their superstars. They haven’t quite managed to fill out wing rotation yet but this would certainly help.
