This Suns-Thunder trade is centered on George Hill to Phoenix

The NBA trade deadline is less than a week away and it could be one of the most active trade deadlines the NBA has seen in quite some time. There is expected to be a lot of talent relocating at the season’s midway point, and one of the next blockbuster deals at the deadline could be revolving around the Suns and Thunder.

A deal between these two teams could be a collaboration of the elements as these two teams each have need that could be addressed. The Suns are a playoff team that has put together a very impressive campaign to this point, but they could still look to add some depth to their roster.

One player who could spark the Suns’ interest is none other than Thunder shooting guard George Hill. He’s a talent that could fit quite well in a ‘3-and-D’ role alongside Phoenix’s stars like Chris Paul and Devin Booker throughout games.

Hill, 34, has spent 13 years in the NBA and has established himself as an effective role player who can play in a variety of roles. He’s been part of plenty of successful teams, most notably earning two trips to the Eastern Conference Finals with the Indiana Pacers.
