
The Denver Nuggets could be in for a big second half of the season. They are beginning to climb up the standings in the Western Conference. This could push them towards making a move at the NBA trade deadline. The Orlando Magic should be selling and the two sides could matchup for a deal as we move forward.
Denver is currently fifth in the West with a 25-17 record. They are beginning to play better basketball behind their dynamic duo. Nikola Jokic is nearly averaging a triple-double with 27 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game this season. Jamal Murray continues to be an elite point guard while Michael Porter Jr. is coming into his own.
This is a team that made a run to the Western Conference Finals a year ago and wants to find a way to get back. This could be their plan at the NBA trade deadline and acquiring another star will help them accomplish that goal.

As for the Magic, they are on the other end of the spectrum. Orlando is currently near the bottom of the Eastern Conference at 14-27. They came into the season looking to make it three years in a row in the postseason but have fallen apart.
Orlando got off to a strong start but did not play well leading up to the all-star break. During the second half of the season, the Magic could look to be sellers and send away some of their main contributors.
