San Antonio Spurs Receive: Aaron Nesmith, Daniel Theis, 2021 1st Round Pick, 2021 2nd Round Pick (via OKC)

LaMarcus Aldridge going to the Boston Celtics would allow them to move Tristan Thompson and Daniel Theis to the bench. He has been one of the best big men the league for many years and is showing that he still has some left in the tank.

Aldridge would do a lot for a team looking to contend for a championship. The Spurs are not positioned to do so but Aldridge could help provide new dimensions to the Celtics’ offense alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

On the other side, the Spurs are looking to get younger and dump some of their veterans for a return. That return would be Aaron Nesmith and Theis, along with two picks in this year’s draft.
