This Blazers-Spurs trade features DeMar DeRozan to Portland

The Portland Trail Blazers have had one of the best duos in the NBA for many years now. Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are entering the all-star break off a great first half of the season that has their team in the mix in the Western Conference playoff race. They could look to add another impact performer and the San Antonio Spurs are the team to call.

San Antonio has had two veteran players in rumors since the offseason. Both DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge are names that could be on the move because of their fit in in San Antonio.

DeRozan was allegedly unhappy in the offseason which put his name on the market immediately. He is in the final year of his contract and will not be re-signing with the Spurs at the end of the season. This is why we could see him on the move and the Trail Blazers could use his services to take that next step.

Portland entered the all-star break with a record of 21-14. They are looking like contenders in the Western Conference because their dynamic duo is playing at a high level. Damian Lillard continues to be one of the best players in the league scoring 29.8 points per game. C.J. McCollum is right behind him with 26.7 per game.
