JJ Redick Gets Traded To The New York Knicks
The New Orleans Pelicans have yet to start JJ Redick in any of his 31 appearances this season, he is recording some of the lowest numbers in his career, and they are out of any playoff conversation. Thus, no reason to hang onto the 36-year-old marksman.
There has been chatter in recent weeks that if Redick were to be dealt, his preferred destination would be in New York because of the close proximity to his offseason home.
If he does go to the Big Apple via a trade, it’s unlikely he winds up with the Brooklyn Nets since they’re now reportedly interested in Blake Griffin. Which leaves the Knicks, who have been one of the surprises of this truncated basketball year.

Redick has always been a seamless fit when joining new rosters. He’s one of the purest 3-point shooters in league history with his 41.4 percentage, and he’s somebody who is capable of increasing the Knicks’ 37.2 mark in that category.
