The Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers are both in their own respective playoff races, but the two sides could look to make a fair deal to help their odds this season. The Sixers currently reside on top of the NBA’s Eastern Conference and could look to add some depth to their roster for their postseason run. Gary Harris could be an ideal trade target.
The 76ers haven’t been very thrilled with the play of their shooting guard Danny Green this season and they could be in the market to land a solid shooting guard at the NBA trade deadline. Seth Curry has been holding his own as the team’s full-time starter at shooting guard, but they could look to add a player to come off the bench in a transitional role for their playoff run.
One player the 76ers could consider going after is none other than Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris. Harris has been limited to just 19 games this season in Denver and has taken a bit of a step down in terms of production. He has averaged 9.7 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game in a bench role with the Nuggets and could be dealt at the trade deadline.
The Nuggets haven’t been thrilled with the often injured Harris and they could be looking for a more reliable player to add to their team instead.
Let’s take a look at what a trade between these two teams could look like.
