This Sixers-Thunder trade features Matisse Thybulle to OKC

The Philadelphia 76ers are entering the all-star break as the top team in the Eastern Conference with a record of 24-12. The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the other end of the spectrum at 15-21 and in a rebuilding phase. These two sides might have some pieces that would fit the other side at the NBA trade deadline.

The 76ers are off to this great start because of the complete overhaul that they went through in the organization. It began when Daryl Morey and Doc Rivers took over. Morey added shooters along the perimeter and they complement both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid well.

Joel Embiid is an early-season MVP candidate averaging 30.2 points and 11.6 rebounds per contest. Philadelphia seemed to make the right choice by not trading either one of their stars and building around them instead.

Philadelphia could have an interest in being aggressive at the NBA trade deadline. The Thunder could have some pieces that would fit and it would take a young player to go back in return.
