Why This Trade Would Make Sense For The Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic are pretty much fed up with the slow development of their sixth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and pretty much want him gone at this point. The Magic love the upside they have in Nikola Vucevic and seem to want him to be their franchise center moving forward.
The Magic could snag a solid first round pick and a reliable backup center in Aron Baynes as compensation for Mo Bamba and that could turn out to be a very good thing or a very bad thing.
If Bamba pops off with the Raptors, the Magic will look like fools and realize they can’t develop talent, but if he continues to struggle the Magic could look like genusises.

The Magic would be the immediate winners of this trade, especially if they land a good player in the draft, because there’s just so much uncertainty with the future of Mo Bamba. Some players just don’t translate to the NBA level, and Mo Bamba could be one of those guys.
