Why This Trade Would Benefit The Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal continues to be one of the best scorers in the league averaging 32.8 points per game this season. Westbrook is near a triple-double averaging 19.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.
After the backcourt duo, Washington struggles to find other options on the offensive end. If they want to move towards competing, they could get stronger down low.
This deal would benefit them because Andre Drummond continues to play at a high level on both ends. At 27-years old, he is interested in signing and extension. That is something the Wizards should be interested in. He would not come that expensive coming off this contract.

Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook have been thrown into NBA trade rumors but if Washington wants to keep them together, they will have to improve down low. Drummond would space the floor well and open up even more room for the guards to navigate.
With what they are giving up, this deal is a no-brainer for Washington. A big like Drummond is a game changer and would make any team better right away.
