Why This Trade Would Benefit The Houston Rockets
When a team trades two superstars, it becomes clear that they are in a rebuild. This is where the Rockets officially are this season. They are currently 11-20 this season and sit near the basement of the Western Conference. This was to be expected. Oladipo’s name has resurfaced in trade rumors recently, this time with the Rockets.
Houston quickly acquired Oladipo once they sent Harden away. The speed at which they moved might make one think that they had plans to keep him around. With the current state of the team approaching the all-star break, this notion could change just as quickly.
Victor Oladipo is good enough to get a nice return but it would not be over the top because of his expiring contract. The Rockets have decisions to make on which direction they want to be heading and Oladipo’s situation is high on the list.
