The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the best teams in the NBA this season so far and have big-time goals of winning the NBA Finals. While they have been a great regular season team so far, they know that more moves may be necessary. George Hill is a name that they have been connected to.

Hill would make perfect sense for the 76ers. He comes with a ton of experience in the postseason and can handle the ball, spot up and shoot, and play a high level of defense. That checks all of the boxes of what the 76ers need.

So far this season, Hill has played in and started 14 games for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has averaged 11.8 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game. In addition to those averages, Hill has shot 50.8 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 38.6 percent of his three-point attempts.

With all of that being said, what would it take for the 76ers to acquire Hill from the Thunder?

Bleacher Report broke down what it could take for the 76ers to pull off the deal. They suggested that Vincent Poirer, Mike Scott, and a 2021 first-round pick (top 18 protected) would be enough to get the deal done.

If that was indeed the price that it would take to acquire George Hill, the 76ers should absolutely pay it. Hill would be a huge depth addition for Philadelphia and would help put them in even closer contention to the rest of the contenders.

Needless to say, it will be interesting to monitor the 76ers as the trade deadline continues to draw closer. Hill is one potential target, but there are other players who could fit as well. He just happens to be one of the cheapest options that could still make a major difference.
