Miami Heat
Miami Heat Receive: G Victor Oladipo, HOU 2023 1st Round Pick
Houston Rockets Receive: G Goran Dragic, G Tyler Herro, MIA 2022 1st Round Pick, MIA 2024 1st Round Pick
We all knew this trade scenario was going to be brought up because we virtually talk about it every week! Victor Oladipo to the Miami Heat everybody… nothing new to see here! We have been speculating about Oladipo being traded to the Heat for months now and it makes a ton of sense why the Heat would be interested in him.
They have struggled early on in the year and if they do not figure things out quickly, they could ultimately miss the playoffs after just making the NBA Finals last year. This would be a huge disappointment for Pat Riley and this Miami Heat front-office, which is why it could make a lot of sense for them to trade some key role players they really like for an All-Star like Oladipo.
Giving up Tyler Herro is something the Miami Heat have not been willing to do for months, but if the opportunity comes to get a player like Oladipo or Bradley Beal in-return, then the Heat have to let Herro go. He just does not possess the upside like these two All-Star caliber players do and trading him for one of these guys makes the Heat just a better overall team.

Jimmy Butler and Victor Oladipo together on the wing with Bam Adebayo in the paint would make this Miami Heat team extremely efficient and give them a “Big 3” to potentially fight for a playoff spot with. Their style of play would be virtually unguardable since they can kick the ball out for three-pointers, they could beat their opponents off-the-drive, or they could find the big man Adebayo underneath for an easy dunk.
With Brooklyn having a three-headed monster in KD, Kyrie and Harden now, the Miami Heat need to make a move to catch up to them and have a chance at defending their title as Eastern Conference Champions, which is why trading for Oladipo may be a given for Miami.
