3 trade targets for Knicks to consider to solidify playoff push

After years of losing and being the “laughing stock” of the NBA, the New York Knicks are actually a very solid team this year and very much in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. Through just over 40% of the season, the Knicks are 15-16 and currently slotted as the 7-seed in the Eastern Conference.

They may not be the best offensive team in the league, but they do their damage on the defensive-end of the court, as they currently rank 1st in the league in least amount of points given up to their opponents per game.

Tom Thibodeau has done a great job coaching this young Knicks team to this point in the season, but there is still a ton of basketball left to be played and this team could still use more talent.

Playing great defense and turning defense into offense is a great way for a young team to win games, but ultimately, if the Knicks are going to challenge some of the top teams in the East, they are going to have to add more offensive firepower to their roster.
